Important Notice about GDPR to our customers
On May 25, the data protection rules are enhanced by the Data Protection Regulation GDPR. Nilex has been working actively for this for a long time to make sure that we handle your personal information in line with the new rules.
Personal data agreement
The new law implies that companies must have a so-called personal data grant agreement with their suppliers in cases where they handle corporate data. It is a contract that regulates and controls how and why a supplier handles personal data. As Nilex has access to your company's personal data in some services such as support and cloud services, it is important that such an agreement be established.
Since Nilex has many different customer categories with varying requirements for what a personal data contract will contain, we would like to ask you as a customer to send us your standard signature agreement. Send the agreement to kundservice@nilex.se and we will return your signed agreement.
For those who have not yet made an agreement or are unsure of what the agreement should contain, please contact us for assistance.
Nilex system
Since personal data are stored in Nilex systems, of course, our program is also affected by the regulation. The system's already well-developed logging and licensing system that can provide the ability to restrict what personal data users will have access to, according to the requirements of GDPR. Upcoming version of systems (both NSP and NE) will contain options where end users can control their concessions and request data to be deleted, encrypted or anonymized.
We are continuously updating our website www.nilex.se with information on how we work with GDPR. There you can also read more about Nilex's privacy policy. You are also welcome to contact kundservice@nilex.se if you have any questions or concerns.
